Novitec, headquartered in Stetten, Bavaria, Germany, specializes in enhancing and customizing Italian automotive brands like Ferrari, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, and Lamborghini. In 2007, Novitec expanded its portfolio to include Novitec Tridente, a dedicated division focused on tuning Maserati vehicles.
Novitec primarily concentrates on performance-oriented modifications designed to enhance the braking, handling, and acceleration of Ferrari vehicles. Their journey began in 2004 when they unveiled their inaugural project: a twin-supercharged Ferrari 360 that generated an impressive 565 horsepower (421 kW), a significant improvement over the stock 400 horsepower (298 kW).
Their second major undertaking, known as the Novitec Rosso project, involved twin-supercharging the Ferrari F430. Novitec introduced multiple versions of this vehicle, including an original model with 636 horsepower (474 kW) and a later upgraded version boasting 707 horsepower (527 kW). An article featured in the Nov/Dec issue of Modified Luxury & Exotics magazine described the experience of driving this car as “humbling,” as it had the capability to surpass one’s own desires, offering a truly rewarding driving experience.
