Ferrari F355 Challenge

SBR f355 Challenge

SB Race Engineering’s team have been involved for preparing F355 Challenge cars since the mid-90s. (one of our current cars pictured above)

The F355 Challenge made its debut alongside the 348 Challenge in the Ferrari Challenge for the 1995 season. This followed the establishment of the European series in 1993 and the subsequent North American series in 1994, with a Japanese series introduced in 1995.

Chosen to succeed its predecessor, the F355 Challenge was directly derived from its road-going counterpart, the F355 berlinetta. The modifications were minimal, limited to enhancements such as the exhaust system, clutch, slick tires, and mandatory racing safety features like the roll cage, six-point safety harness, fire extinguisher, front tow hook, and electric circuit breaker. Competing until 2000, the F355 Challenge paved the way for the 360 Challenge, which replaced it in the following year.
