Developed by Ferrari’s Corse Clienti department in collaboration with Michelotto Automobili, the Ferrari 360 GTC represented the ultimate evolution of the 360 platform for GT racing. Building on the success of the earlier 360 GT, the GTC introduced advanced technologies and extensive refinements aimed squarely at enhancing on-track performance.
Among its most significant developments were aerodynamic enhancements, the result of intensive wind tunnel testing. The revised rear wing positioning and updated bodywork contributed to a substantial increase in downforce, improving cornering stability and overall grip. At just 1,100 kg, the 360 GTC was engineered to meet the minimum weight limit set by FIA regulations, thanks to the extensive use of lightweight composite materials throughout the bodywork. This reduction in mass was achieved without compromising structural integrity, preserving the strength of critical components while maximizing performance.
With these improvements, the 360 GTC proved highly competitive in international GT racing, carrying forward Ferrari’s legacy of excellence on the track. It remains a sought-after machine among collectors and racers alike, known for its precision, agility, and race-bred engineering.
