1980 – 1989 – Ferrari Models – Now into his late 80’s Enzo made his last master-peace the iconic Specialist F40 – The car many believe to be the best ever.
At this point the commercial focus of the company was no longer to produce race cars, but focus on the production of road cars for the elite that embodied the track (25 in total during the 1980’s).
Motorsport was now centralised in F1., alone.
