The Ferrari 312 P, introduced in 1969, is a rare and highly sought-after sports prototype developed for the FIA's Group 6 prototype category. Powered by a 3.0-liter V12 engine derived from Ferrari’s Formula 1 program, the 312 P was campaigned by the factory at premier endurance events such as Sebring, Le Mans, and the Nürburgring.
Many publications added the letter B after the P of its name to indicate its engine type, but this variation was never officially sanctioned by Ferrari which simply called it the 1969 312 P.
In addition to a new engine, the chassis also differed in certain respects as aluminium panels were riveted to the small-diameter tubular space-frame a further step towards the monocoque.

Ferrari 312 P Valuation
With only a few examples built—both in spyder and berlinetta form—the 312 P is extremely rare and historically significant. When available, these cars can command prices well above $10 million, with especially desirable examples fetching upwards of $15 million due to their performance pedigree and Scuderia Ferrari provenance.
