This unique and highly desirable 2009 Ferrari 599 GTB is a UK-supplied, right-hand drive example, factory-fitted with the rare HGTE handling package and now enhanced further by a manual gearbox conversion. EQUIPMENT & FEATURES

Finished in Nero Daytona over a Nero leather and Alcantara interior, this 599 is well specified with a range of factory options, including the sought-after HGTE (Handling Gran Turismo Evoluzione) package — a £15,000 option when new. This package brings a host of enhancements, including:

• Extensive carbon fibre trim across the dashboard, door panels, and steering wheel
• Carbon-backed sports seats embroidered with HGTE branding
• A carbon steering wheel featuring integrated shift lights
• Alcantara trim throughout the cabin and rear luggage area

The most striking interior feature, however, is the addition of a traditional open-gate gear lever, setting this 599 apart from most of its F1-equipped counterparts.

The manual conversion was carried out in 2024 at a cost exceeding £70,000. It features an OEM gear turret and gated selector, with other components digitally scanned and precisely machined from genuine Ferrari parts. Unlike some aftermarket kits that rely on cable actuation, this car uses the correct Ferrari rod-linkage design, preserving the authentic mechanical feel. Furthermore the ECU has been tuned to GTO-style performance specifications.

Further enhancing the driving experience is a full Fiammenghi exhaust system, including ceramic-coated manifolds, downpipes, and cat-bypass pipes — allowing the V12 engine to truly sing with a spine-tingling soundtrack.

Externally, the car is fitted with 20-inch split-rim alloy wheels, aluminium-finished brake calipers, carbon-ceramic brakes, and factory Scuderia shields on the front wings.

HISTORY

The car is accompanied by two keys, the original owner’s handbook pack, and a file of maintenance invoices supporting the 17 service stamps recorded in the service book.

Throughout its life, it has been maintained by a combination of official Ferrari dealerships and recognised independent specialists.
