Introduction

This 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo has only covered a mere 8785 miles from new and looks incredible in its Blu Caelum paintwork.

Equipment & Features

The drama that early Lamborghini Gallardo’s provide has been amplified on this example with the addition of a Larini exhaust system, including decat pipes to eliminate any problems that the stock set up is known to suffer from.

Other than that, this car remains very genuine, unmodified and as supplied back in 2004. The Avorio Lilium two tone interior is in superb order, and everything feels tight and as expected having covered this sort of mileage.

Externally, black brake calipers sit behind a set of factory silver 19” Cassiopea wheels which is the perfect contrast to this rarer exterior colour.

History

Thousands of pounds have just been spent on this car, ice blasting mechanical components and ceramic coating the unmarked paintwork. Furthermore, a replacement clutch has just been installed and a major service has recently been completed here at SBR.  History prior to this was completed at Lamborghini dealers. Accompanying the sale is 2 keys, the owner’s book pack and the original tool kit.

Summary

We have seen an increase in interest in pre-LP Gallardo’s in recent months and stepping into this car is akin to stepping back into 2004. It certainly has potential to be a sound investment for the future, with its low mileage, its originality and its modern classic status.

Vehicle Overview

The Lamborghini Gallardo, the brand’s best-selling model, made its debut in 2003 and enjoyed an extraordinary production run of ten years until it was succeeded by the Huracán in 2013. Throughout its decade-long lifespan, the Gallardo earned its place in Lamborghini’s history as one of the most iconic and recognisable supercars ever created.

Showcasing Lamborghini’s signature two-seat, mid-engine layout, the Gallardo was engineered to deliver an exhilarating driving experience. Initially powered by a 5.0-litre naturally aspirated V10 engine producing an impressive 493 bhp, the car received an upgrade in 2008 to a 5.2-litre unit with an odd-firing configuration. This enhanced both power output and the car’s distinctive sound, giving the second-generation models (2008–2013) a unique character.

From 2006 onwards, first-generation models offered up to 513 bhp, with power delivered to all four wheels, ensuring outstanding traction and handling. Buyers could choose between two transmission options: a 6-speed gated manual or a 6-speed E-Gear system. The gated manual, celebrated for its mechanical precision and the satisfying “click-clack” of its shifts, became a firm favourite among purists for its engaging and tactile feel. Meanwhile, the E-Gear, an electro-hydraulically actuated single-clutch automatic, delivered an even faster shifting experience.

The Gallardo’s enduring popularity was not only due to its performance but also its surprising accessibility, blending everyday usability with thrilling supercar dynamics. This versatility made it a popular choice for drivers seeking a car capable of delivering both spirited drives and daily commutes. With its striking design, powerful engine, and driver-focused manual gearbox, the Gallardo remains one of Lamborghini’s most beloved models to this day.
