Velocity AP coil springs are manufactured exclusively from high-quality, high-stress X5K spring steel. Although more expensive than conventional steel, this advanced material allows us to improve upon the original McLaren 720S spring design by reducing the amount of steel required per spring. The result is a substantially lighter spring (approximately 30% reduction) with a lower solid height, which increases usable suspension travel.
