Description

This set of Velocity AP lowering coil springs is designed as a direct replacement spring upgrade for the McLaren 570S and 570GT, reducing ride height by approximately 22mm for improved stance and enhanced handling.

Velocity AP coil springs are manufactured exclusively from high-quality, high-stress X5K spring steel. Although considerably more expensive than conventional spring steel, this advanced material allows further improvement over the original McLaren 570S / 570GT coil spring design by reducing the amount of steel required per spring. As a result, these replacement coil springs are approximately 30% lighter, with a reduced solid height that increases available suspension travel.

X5K spring steel is widely used across top levels of motorsport, offering proven durability, strength, and consistency under extreme conditions — making it ideal for high-performance McLaren applications.

In addition to superior materials, these McLaren 570S and 570GT lowering springs feature a unique tapered wire progressive-rate design, setting them apart from most OEM and aftermarket alternatives.
