FERRARI 430 CAPRISTO EXHAUST SYSTEM
VALVED EXHAUST
A state-of-the-art valved exhaust system designed for a perfect fit on your Ferrari F430. This exhaust system is compatible with both the F430 Coupe and the F430 Spider. It features a 70mm exhaust valve control, allowing for greater performance and an enhanced exhaust note, with up to a 13hp gain over the stock system.
The iconic Capristo valved exhaust system offers the best of both worlds by producing an aggressive exhaust note under acceleration and a more subdued sound for city driving. At lower engine speeds and during cruise operation, the valves are closed, producing a deeper exhaust note. At wide-open throttle, the valves open, releasing the full symphony of the engine.
The opening and closing of the Capristo valves are controlled by the engine ECU, functioning in the same way as the original exhaust system. The OEM vacuum pipes fit directly into the Capristo valve system.
Alternatively, you can fit the optional wireless remote controller for the exhaust valves, allowing you to open and close the valves at the touch of a button. When closed, control reverts to the engine ECU.
Capristo exhaust systems are engineered and manufactured using advanced 3D laser-scanning, CAD design, digital prototyping, and CNC bending/milling at our factory in Germany. Each system is made of high-grade T309 (1.4828) stainless steel and hand-polished to a mirror finish. After extensive research, this specific alloy was chosen for its sonic resonance properties, low weight, and durability, which are close to the properties of Inconel as used in F1.
Important:
This exhaust system comes with its own unique mounting brackets. No modifications to the vehicle are necessary. The spring-mounted design of the Capristo bracket releases stress on the entire system, saving the headers from stress-induced and fatigue cracks.
During installation, it is imperative to remove all OEM mountings and use the exhaust bracket provided with your exhaust.
The Capristo-designed mounting works so well that we recommend it be fitted in place of the original support system, even if the OEM silencer is retained.
