January 2025 has started with some surprises! After a lot of back and forth we have managed to start a testing programme with the Brabham BT62.
We first took delivery of this BT62 in 2021, but followers of the car will know that it has been dogged with engine issues and failures. In 2024 Brabham Automotive shelved the project and they now no longer hast the license to use the Brabant name. Sadly only a hand full of cars were produced, and the only car that was trouble free was the first/prototype car. Subsequent production cars all suffered with engine issues and more!
With this now the case the owner approached us to revisit the project, with no backing from the manufacturer, we now had to come up with out own solutions to the problems.
2025 will se the car back out again, but we are under no illusion that it will be a smooth ride. It will be great to see the car run trouble free, fingers crossed!!
