Last Round of the Season

September 21-22nd saw the SBR team at a very wet Castle Combe Circuit for the closing rounds of the Superformance Ferrari Club Classic!

We rolled into Castle Combe on Friday afternoon, well-prepared for a weekend of unpredictable weather—and it certainly delivered! The skies treated us to a rollercoaster of conditions, starting with sunshine, then shifting abruptly to a torrential downpour, only to clear up once more. It was clear right away that finding the right car setup for our two F355 Challenge cars would be no easy task!

Qualifying took place on a track still glistening from earlier rainfall, making for a wet and challenging session. Thankfully, further showers stayed away long enough for some competitive times to be set.  However, with the ever-changing forecast, we were forever keeping a close eye on the skies of the three races over the corse of the weekend.

Both SBR cars did well given the conditions. Drivers, Nicky Paul-Barron and our own Stuart Bitmead, picked up some trophies.
