Introduction
This 2002 Ferrari 360 Spider is finished in the launch colour of ‘Grigio Alloy’ and is presented in superb condition throughout, with only 3 owners and an indicated 43,120 miles covered.
Equipment & Features
This is a genuine and unmodified example, with a Navy electric roof and Navy leather upholstery contrasting perfectly against the unmarked Grigio Alloy paintwork. The cabin remains in very good order and features the factory Ferrari audio system, Air Conditioning and electric heated door mirrors.
Externally this car is as it left the factory, with unmarked 18 inch 5 spoke alloy wheels sitting in front of silver brake calipers, and a glass engine cover showing off the 3.6 litre V8 power unit. This is mated to a 6 speed F1 transmission.
This 3 owner car will be supplied with 2 keys, the original set of handbooks, the v5c and a large collection of paperwork documenting its comprehensive history.
History
The extensive amount of paperwork with this car shows regular maintenance throughout its ownership, and SB Race Engineering recently completed a major service with cambelt replacement.
Summary
This example of the Ferrari 360 Spider needs to be seen to be appreciated and should not be confused with other cars in this price bracket, such is its condition. This car represents great value in the Italian sports car market.

Why the Ferrari 360 Is So Highly Regarded
- A Turning Point for Ferrari
The 360 represented a major technological leap from the 355. It was Ferrari’s first production car to feature an all-aluminium spaceframe chassis, which significantly reduced weight and improved rigidity. This allowed for better handling and performance.
- Timeless Design
Designed by Pininfarina, the 360 has a sleek, flowing silhouette that has aged exceptionally well. It’s elegant yet aggressive, with a design that still holds its own among modern supercars.
- Naturally Aspirated V8 Character
The 3.6-litre V8 revs beyond 8,500 rpm and delivers a thrilling soundtrack. There’s no turbocharging—just raw, linear power and sharp throttle response. It delivers a visceral driving experience that many modern cars lack.
- Challenge Stradale: The Purist’s Choice
This track-focused variant is lighter, stiffer, and more aggressive than the standard model. Featuring more carbon fibre, less sound deadening, and sharper dynamics, it’s a serious performance machine that remains road legal. It’s become a favourite among collectors.
- Usable Performance
Unlike older Ferraris, the 360 offers modern features such as power steering, relatively reliable electronics, and decent air conditioning. It’s still a proper analogue car but refined enough to be driven regularly without too much compromise.
- Strong Value Proposition (historically)
For many years, the 360 was seen as a relatively accessible entry into Ferrari ownership. Prices have risen, especially for manual and Challenge Stradale versions, but it still offers genuine Ferrari V8 performance and presence for less than many newer alternatives.
Summary
The Ferrari 360 sits in a sweet spot within Ferrari’s history—offering a perfect balance of analogue charm and modern usability. It’s light, responsive, and engaging to drive, yet not so old that it becomes impractical. For enthusiasts, especially those who appreciate manual gearboxes and naturally aspirated engines, the 360 remains one of the most compelling choices in the Ferrari line-up.
